WHY DIGITALIZATION IS THE NEED OF THE HOUR?

We were wondering from where to start and what to write and how should we indulge each and every person out there that they should know about the important of DIGITALIZATION.

Well whether you are from IT background or not, I am very sure that most of you out there must have heard about the term DIGITALIZATION. In our very first blog on DIGITALIZE URSELF we as a team would like to introduce you to the process of how can an organisation transform itself from being Analog to being Digital.

Preciously, there are multiple reasons of why we need this transformation. When we asked the group of people about the importance of Digitalization; they had multiple answers:

  1. The transformation is needed to gain speed and agility.
  2. Some need it to save cost.
  3. And the most common is to reach to the globe market.

In short, digitalization of an organisation can surely provide you a competitive lead by doing things better and faster and in a cheaper way than your immediate competitor.

BUT, WHAT IS DIGITALIZATION?

In a literal language, Digitalization is basically the amalgamation of digital technologies into our day-to-day life by transforming everything or particularly those things that can be digitalized.

Some of the quickest gains that can be seen by opting digitalization:

  • It enhances the business process and brings consistency by bringing efficiency in quality.
  • It facilitates better exchange of information on worldwide scale.
  • Helps in giving on time revert and render better customer service anywhere across the globe.
  • Helps in keeping records by integrating it with digitize record system.
  • Overall it improves the business and gives them the ability to take the advantage of analytics and indirectly serves as the main key for business continuity.

Apart from so many gains the foremost gain in order to change from being analog to digital is that it allows the organisation to spread their reach and makes them no longer limited to any geographical boundaries. However, to have a global reach a firm should be able to understand its main objectives of “What They Want To Achieve?” and then “Plan Accordingly” by “Building Strategy” and then “Executing The Plan” and later “Managing The Digitalization” Programs/Plan properly.

A proper executed digitalization plan not only helps in the digital transformation but it also enables the organisations to revise their business plan during the process which helps in improving the quality and indirectly promotes their consistency.

Therefore, we can say that if an organisation opts for digital technologies it will not only helps the decision makers to enhance their business programs efficiently but also will help them to analyse their business performance by sitting anywhere across the globe and from any chosen device.

NOW after knowing everything why are we seeing the organisation not to go for digitalization in full swing? Well the answer can be as simple that they lack in understanding the digital technologies associated to their business or they lack in convincing themselves or the decision makers to opt for digitalization.

Today, few organisations look onto IT technology as the expensive addition rather then looking onto the benefits that they will get out of it i.e. it makes them to perform efficiently and does help in saving cost by reducing complicated file work and labour.

In today’s competitive world it is no longer the option to opt for technologies; it is highly necessary because the best technology will the race and will be not only cost effective but will also be agile enough to adapt the necessary changes to bring business ahead. Therefore, in case if you are looking to lead the race; it is important for you to understand the new paradigm because if you wont opt for the best technology, you know for the fact that race is only for the top three positions; the rest always remains unknown.

Therefore, it’s high time and the time for DIGITALIZATION is now. So know your Digital Duniya and shift the gear to get on to the Digital World.
